Xanthoparmelia scabrosa
Xanthoparmelia scabrosa is an herb, or more specifically a lichen, that is commonly used in male enhancement preparations. This lichen has shown significant and exciting potential in many areas of human health, perhaps most prominently: cancer treatment, based on a study which showed this lichen's capacity for destroying cancer cells, while leaving the healthy cells intact. However, frustratingly enough, formal science has not taken enough interest in this herb, or at least there have not been a sufficient amount of publicized studies to even determine what a safe or recommended daily dosage is. This is a significant issue to consider as this lichen has shown to exhibit a low amount of a toxin, which may in fact be dangerous.
Today’s male enhancement products typically choose the safe option and do not include enough of this lichen to really make an impact on male sexual function, to avoid problems with the before mentioned toxins. This is also an issue that should be considered because Xanthoparmelia scabrosa has shown some rather remarkable male enhancement effects. Perhaps the most noteworthy is that this lichen actually hinders the enzyme that tells our body to “get rid of” the erection. This has positive effects in both before the erection, effectively reducing the effects of erectile dysfunction, and during erection, which allows for more stamina even after the orgasm, giving us those few extra thrusts that can allow our partner to reach that orgasm.
In the end however, due to the lack of a formal scientific study of this lichen, these effects remain strictly hearsay and the dosage is a significant issue. Our recommendation is to avoid this herb until such a study is done; your health is not worth the potential sacrifice if the toxins are found to be more serious than is currently considered.
